The Sony HDR-PJ260V Handycam Camcorder with built-in mini projector is the next model up from the Sony HDR-PJ200 camcorder with projector with a larger LCD screen at 3.0 inch, a 30X Optical, 55X Extended Zoom, records onto a 16GB* embedded Flash Memory or a memory stick with a back-illuminated Exmor CMOS sensor for superb low-light video taking 1920×1080 AVCHD Full HD video or 8.9MP still images with a wide angle G lens.
Face detection and noise reduction, Tracking Focus and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode are special features of the HDR-PJ260V Sony camcorder with projector, Intelligent Auto, wind noise reduction for better audio, and Geotagging with built-in GPS receiver & NAVTEQ maps. Sound is recorded with the 5.1ch Surround microphone for vivid and dynamic surround sound.

Closer Voice with Face Detection
When the camcorder’s Face Detection technology identifies people in a scene, an Advanced Acoustic Processor automatically reduces background noise, resulting in recorded voices with outstanding clarity and intelligibility.
Tracking Focus works as an extension of Face Detection to allow you to select an object with a touch of the LCD and have the focus follow the selected object, even if it leaves the frame and returns.
Expanded Recording/Monitoring with Mic/Headphone Jack
Features dedicated mic and headphone inputs for expanded audio recording options and convenient monitoring of audio with headphones (external microphones and headphones sold separately).
Built-in USB Cable for Easy File Transfer/Charge
