Panasonic X900MK Review

The Panasonic X900MK Full HD 3D camcorder is an upgrade to the Panasonic HDC-TM900K introduced last year, now sporting five axes of correction to the optical image stabilizer, an improved wind noise correction microphone with 5.1 Channel zoom and a new Leica Dicomar lens.

The new Panasonic X900MK records Full HD AVCHD 1080p resolution either onto the 32GB built in internal memory or to a single SD SDHC memory card slot with improved low light recording via a 3MOS sensor and a new Crystal Engine Pro II for high-speed image processing.

Panasonic X900MK with 2D to 3D conversion
To watch video recorded with the Panasonic X900MK in 2D but converted to 3D for viewing, connect the X900MK to the 3D compatible TV via an HTMI cable and the image processing engine does the conversion for you for an enhanced viewing experience. For fast and easy editing, recorded video can be down converted similar to what Canon camcorders offer.

Panasonic X900MK 3.5 inch Touch LCD screen
For quick zoom while recording video, touch the screen with a finger tip. For quick focus when taking stills, touch the LCD screen to automatically activate the Touch Shutter function. The fingertip action also works during video review through the LCD screen, just slide the fingers over the screen to scroll to the desired frames as you would with a cell phone.

Pixel shift technology achieves high-speed processing that is equivalent to four times the pixel count of Full-HD pixels of the TM900.

The hybrid optical image stabilizer with five-axis correction function captures crisp, clear images without blurring in almost every situation, correcting every roll direction that occurs with camera movement.
